Castellers de Boston

We build pinya, we build human towers, we build community.

Founded in 2025, the Castellers de Boston bring the Catalan tradition of human towers to Boston and New England. With the goal of building towers and connecting the Catalan community with the region, we meet every two Sundays at the Cambridge Community Center (5 Callender St, Cambridge, MA 02139).

📍 Where: Cambridge Community Center (Winter ❄️) – Charles River Esplanade, near Arthur Fiedler Statue (Summer 🔆)
🧭 Purpose: Culture, friendship and sport within a community
🤝 Values: Safety, inclusion and respect

What we do

We bring the tradition of human towers to New England and help it grow with an open and inclusive spirit. Everyone is welcome: no prior experience required, just the desire to learn and to join the pinya.

  • Living culture: we display the towers at local festivals and events
  • Community: a social, intergenerational space
  • Technique and safety: guided progression under the technical team
